Part of the Ghana legal team which partnered Herbert Smith, Solicitors of the United Kingdom ,that represented Telecom Malaysia in the sale of their 30% stake in Ghana Telecom to the Government of Ghana. Extensive knowledge in the procedures for the incorporation of companies, registration with the relevant statutory bodies, securing licences for operations including the acquisition of the first licence in Ghana for the operation of a wind power project( project yet to commence). Drafting experience of commercial and business contracts. Drafting of pleadings and other legal processes. Conducting trials and arguing appellate briefs. Research, advising and giving legal opinions to other colleague lawyers or clients. Negotiating and settling varied legal claims and an astute mediator and/ arbitrator. An expert in property law which includes but not limited to investigating titles, acquiring titles to land, negotiating terms of transfer of interests in land, conveyancing including registration of titles and has been instrumental in the acquisition of large acres of land in very prime areas in Ghana for real estate companies.
